Before you begin.
What counts as a restyle?
Any request that changes what the whole frame is made of, such as wool, paper, clay, ink or watercolour, while the action stays the same. Aisma renders every frame in the new material and keeps the motion.
Can I restyle only the background?
Yes. Ask for the background alone, as in the five worlds around one walk on this page: the person keeps their look and only the surroundings change.
Will the subject stay recognisable?
In a full restyle the subject turns into the new material as well, so the dog becomes a felt dog. If the subject must stay photographic, ask for the background only.
Does it work on people?
Yes. In the watercolour example, a woman’s movement and the box she carries stay while the whole apartment turns into a painting.
