Credits pay for AI generation and rendering. Every product and model has its own rate, shown before you start. Each paid period tops your total balance up to the plan allowance after previous subscription credits expire; a higher balance is unchanged. New subscription credits expire at period end. Credits from one-time packs never expire. Planning and preparing a project in Director — the script, the scene plan and previews of the characters, places, voice and music — is free within usage limits: past a limit, each further preview image is charged at cost, and credits are spent when the video scenes and avatar lines are rendered.
Yes. Upgrade to a higher plan with the same billing period by paying the price difference for the time left; the proportional extra credits are added after payment and the renewal date stays the same. You see the charge and extra credits before confirming. Downgrades, billing-period changes and cancellation take effect at the end of the paid period. Any scheduled future plan change stays in place when you upgrade. Purchased pack credits never expire.

Fees are non-refundable unless the law requires a refund — see Refunds in the Terms of Service. If a generation fails, the eligible credits return to your balance automatically.

Yes. Your plan does not limit how you use your results, including client work, ads and monetized channels. Your rights to a result depend on the rights to the photos, voices and audio you put in, and on the Terms of Service.
